I'm Steph! I help stressed out service providers shift to confident CEO's who attract high ticket clients and scale to 6+ figures while working <20 hours/week!
Do you always feel like you are short on time and struggling to find that perfect work-life balance? So many people, especially moms, tell me that they just don’t have enough time to devote to their business.
You may feel like you have the entire world on your shoulders, and having a young child myself, I know how it feels! This has meant I’ve had to get really strategic with how I’m spending my time, as there are only so many hours in the day.
Plus, as a service-based business owner, you need to make sure you get the work done that your client is paying you to do; this isn’t always easy to do when you’re trying to juggle #allthethings. To help free up more time in your day, I’m sharing with you how you can save more than twenty hours a week by doing two very simple things.
One of the easiest ways you can free up your time is by outsourcing some of your work to a virtual assistant or hiring a subcontractor to complete tasks that are taking up too much of your time. There are only 24 hours in each day, so you should try and outsource some of your daily tasks that aren’t in your zone of genius.
This is a strategy I personally used when I was setting up my service-based business (& still do), and it enabled me to grow my business to 6+ figures while taking care of my son full time. I made sure to focus on doing only the things that I could do (like finding new clients & marketing myself) and outsource the rest of the nitty-gritty, behind-the-scenes work to someone else.
For the tasks I couldn’t outsource, I automated instead, and if you know me, you know I love automation! In the online space, you can automate the vast majority of aspects of your business to get it running on autopilot in the background.
Plus, this is so much better for your cash flow and the longevity of your business to pay $50 a month for a piece of software than it is to spend $500 or more on a team member each month. Between outsourcing and automation, you’ll be able to take yourself out of the majority of the day-to-day business tasks and free up your time.
After you get your time back, you’ll then be able to focus on tasks and projects that are in your zone of genius!
One of my top automation tips is to have an automated client onboarding process, so from the minute a client inquires about working with you to the point you have your onboarding call, the process is automated so that they always feel supported from their first point of contact with your business.
Also, you can use an automation tool like Zapier to automatically create new folders in Google Drive & tasks in ClickUp so you don’t have to do these manually throughout the day. Instead, you can focus only on the tasks that you’ve planned for the day.
Additionally, if you have a course or membership, the onboarding process for your new students should also be automated, so as soon as they sign up, they begin receiving login details and emails welcoming them into your program & answering any questions before they have to!
If you’re anything like me, I’m sure you are desperate to free up more hours in your day. Plus, as your business grows, you’ll soon begin to realize that you can’t physically do it all by yourself.
By combining automation and outsourcing, you’ll be able to start working less than twenty hours a week and regain your work-life balance.
