Coralee Zueff is the founder of the Passing Lane Company on Vancouver Island, which specializes in automotive service advisor training. Additionally, she is a sales consultant and the author of the “Five Star Service Advisor” book.
How Coralee got started in the automotive industry
When Coralee was in high school, she wasn’t sure of the career she wanted to take. When she came across the first-year automotive technician course advertisement, she signed up for it.
She enjoyed learning how vehicles work, but she missed interacting with people. She loved interacting with customers more than working on vehicles. To hear more, go to [02:56].

After working in automotive parts departments, her manager moved her to service advising. She loved the excitement of being the in-between person of taking the information from the shop to the customer.

Coralee noticed that there wasn’t a training authority for service advisors which led her to write the book, the Five Start Service Advisor.
